It's true that many see television as not only a waste of time, but a disgusting mind-numbing activity aimed only at those whose brains are so devoid of any significant opinion or interest in culture that the activity of television watching is unlikely to damage them any further.

Yet, I, as Media graduate and current MA student wish to add a new perspective. I don't always have anything particularly valid to say. I rarely analyse or discuss programmes in relation to some sort of academic theory. I say rarely, I mean never. My aim is to discuss the trash, the lesser trash and the rest and to at least demonstrate the entertainment value of some television. I also like to argue that there is nothing wrong with relaxation and entertainment.

I know Adorno wouldn't agree, but perhaps knowing of Adorno's work will at least get me some respect.
